If you do 180 - 90 is 90 and the divide that by 2 and get 45 so your answer is 45 for both x and y

You can use cosine x = 9/17 because cosine is adjacent over hypotenuse. Then with a calculator you use the inverse button which is cos to the -1 power and plug in 9/17.
So your answer is:
X = 58.03 degrees
