To make sure you have no distracting errors it is recommended to have someone proof read your writing for grammar mistakes then to read it out loud to make sure it sounds and flows well.
To make sure you do not have any distracting errors in any writing try having a peer read over it and have them give any feed back they may think of or, point out any errors they may come across. Sometimes a new eye is best when looking for distracting errors.
