why would slaves revolt?

1.because they need to organized
2.because the emancipation societies promoted it.
3.because they wanted to end practice
4.because they were trying to return to africa

ok , so answer one doesn't even make sense, why would they want to be organized in a harsh life that they are living. 
answer two doesn't either make sense .
the most likley answer would be 4
I would believe the answer to be the third one, they wanted to end the practice of slavery
