The soccer team has 10 less than the football team. The football team has 60% more players than the basketball team. The basket ball team has 15 players on the team. How many kids are on soccer team?

Let x = the number of players on the football team, let y = number of players on the soccer team, and let z = the number of players on the basketball team.

[tex] y = x-10 [/tex]

[tex] x=1.6z [/tex]

[tex] z=15 [/tex]

So then we can solve for x:

[tex] x=1.6(15)=24 [/tex]

And then we can solve for y:

[tex] y=24-10=14 [/tex]

So therefore we know that there are 14 players on the soccer team.
