Distance (Length) = √((x2-x1)^2 +(y2-y1)^2)

= √(5-0^2) + (2-0^2)

= √5^2 + 2^2

= √25 +4

=√29 ( Exact) or 5.385 as a decimal and round the answer as needed.


The problem doesn't say if the answer was needed as a decimal or not.
