The process by which an environmental protection act is created and enforced:

  • The Environmental Protection Act is comprises of an objective of providing protection and improvement of the environment.
  • It leads to the empowerment of the Government to establish authorities who are charge of the mandate of preventing environmental pollution in all its forms and to tackle specific environmental problems.                                                  
  • In the US, the Congress has to pass an order for the implementation of a law leading the establishment of the protection act.
  • Then, the respective Environmental Protection Agency establishes it own suitable state and local compliance legislation.
