treat the greater/less than signs as equals (=) signs, so... 1. x - 7 = 10 x = 10+7 (re-arrange equation to get x as subject(on its own)) x = 17 x > 17 (don't forget to put back the greater/less than signs back!!!!) try the rest on your own to get some practice, if you still don't get it message me and i will help you out
