Why are the characters in myths
often gods, goddesses, and heroes
with special powers? Does this add
to or take away from the stories?

Answer to the first question-Because this gave people an answer to things that were impossible to explain at the time. So, they made something up that was impossible to explain the impossible. ~Sorry if this isn’t that good i’m kinda tired :(
