Darren uses Photoshop to create a new version of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci (view slide presentation in class). He uses this image on his website where he sells other photos he's created.

No this is not an fair use because he is putting the image in the website where he sells images he created, and there are copyrights to many art. This is one of the most famous paintings, and back in the days it was not copyrighted but now it is copyrighted.
