Respuesta :

“For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent.”

The Enlightenment came around the 18th Century and included a range of ideas centered on reason as the primary source of authority and legitimacy; advancing ideals such as liberty, progress, tolerance, fraternityconstitutional government, and separation of church and state. This quote is a good example as it shows how the thoughts of the people reflected a desire for equality, constitutional governance and liberty.
