two very special students were playing catch with a magnet. Unfortunately one of th students missed the magnet causing it to fall to the ground and break into many small pieces.

The answer is A. All of the small pieces will be magnetic.

The magnetism isn't completely taken away, but depending on the size of the magnet, a bigger piece will of course be stronger than a needle sized one.
