In this lab there were three experiments that show how to deal with different types
flenses which are convex and concave lenses. In the first experiment, the setup
was composed only of one convex lens. The object distance and image distance
were measured, so we found the focal length of the lens from the measured S and
S'. The focal length that we got was compared with the nominal or actual value
of the used lens which was 75.6mm. The second experiment was composed of
two convex lenses Firstly, the object distance was measured. Moreover, the focal
lengths of the two lenses were known, and they were 500mm and 100mm
respectively. Finally, the image distance was measured from the screen to the
second lens where we got the best image formed. The last experiment is as same
as the second experiment with only one difference that the first lens was a concave
lens with a focal length of -150mm
