Is my Iron Supplment dose? considered high? I’m borderline Anemia and I’m taking iron pills.

Answer:

I am not a doctor or even that knowledgeable in medicine. However, from what I can tell, that is not a high dose.

Someone with anemia would be recommended 100-200 MG of iron a day.

325 MG of ferrous sulfate is 65 MG of iron, just to clarify. You seem to be taking an appropriate amount for someone in your condition.

Side effects would mainly be discomfort. Some possible nausea. But, again, from what I can tell, you should be fine. I'd suggest checking with your PCP to make sure.
