Communicable is able to be passed from person to person, for example: the flu, colds, and viruses. However non cummunicable, such as autoimmune diseases, cannot be spread from person to person and are typically inherited. Poor hygine is not a sypmtom of a communicable disease, but is instead a risk factor for a communicable disease.
