Does this description remind you of anything you have seen on television, or in the movies? What is significant about Winston's reaction?

The description does remind you of things on t.v. like a television show, with 32 episodes and 12 seasons. Called N.C.I.S, it's a show that's has a good point of view and 3 main purposes. They have a sludge hammer, hideous ecstasy of not a lot of fear and is laws of unnecessary vision to victims.
