Action-oriented listeners want information that is structured, concise, and accurate. When people believe that a speaker is "long-winded," the communication might seem disorganised or inconsistent, which can irritate them.
Activity-oriented listeners concentrate on what needs to be done in response to a message they have received and attempt to construct a plan to start that action. Disorganization frustrates these listeners since it limits the likelihood that anything will be done.
