Charges on a ballon after it's been rubbed with a wool cloth. The image on the right is a tissue paper. What will happen to the tissue paper as it approaches the balloon and why
A) the tissue paper will stick to the balloon because the tissue paper is negative charged.
B) the tissue paper will stick to the balloon because the tissue paper is positively charged.
C) the tissue paper will move away from the balloon because the tissue paper is negatively charged.
D) the tissue paper will move away from the balloon because the tissue paper is positively charged.

Respuesta :

The answer is B. After rubbing the cloth to the balloon it pulls the negative charge closer to the surface and the tissue paper has a neutral charge but when put closer to the balloon, the negative attracts the positive in the tissue paper which makes it stick to the balloon.
