we need to use the pythgorean therum (or however it is spelled)

a^2 + b^2 = c^2....where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse

9^2 + b^2 = 15^2
81 + b^2 = 225
b^2 = 225 - 81
b^2 = 144....take square root of both sides, eliminating the ^2
b = sqrt 144
b = 12

so ur other leg is 12 cm
