The slope is the change in y divided by the change in x.

so we have two points:
(-1,9) and (9,9)

x1=-1
x2=9
y1=9
y2=9

and the slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (9-9)/(9+1) = 0

Zero slope means this line is horizontal (parallel to the x-axis)
