Drivers will be more responsible

It is a way to fight dangerous multitasking habits that teenagers are known for

It could lower teen deaths

It could even help with obesity if teens start walking more

It could reduce the money spent in insurance for families

Cons:

Adults with less driving experience

It would give more to parents to do (not being able to let the teen drive)

It would take longer for teens to learn about responsibility

There are advantages and disadvantages for raising the driving age to be eighteen years of age and a list is given below.

Advantages of driving

  • Driving will be for more responsible adults.
  • The rate of teen death will be reduced.
  • It is a great way to save a little more money.

Disadvantages of driving

  • This will produce more drivers with less experience.
  • There will be a higher rate of irresponsibility.
  • This could also cause a rift between parents and children when they do not give their children permission to drive.
