Salutations!
finding the 56th term is same as find the nth term, but its a bit more easier than finding the nth term.
we'll be using a formula to find the fifth term.
[tex]a+(n-1)*d[/tex]
[tex]a[/tex] stands for the first term (the first number in a sequence)
[tex]d[/tex] is the difference between the constantsÂ
[tex]n[/tex] is the what will be finding
so instead of n, we will be plugging in the number 56.
[tex]a+(n-1)*d[/tex]
[tex]23+(56-1)*-7[/tex]
we will be solving the brackets first
[tex]23+55*-7[/tex]
[tex]78-7[/tex]
=71
the 56th term is 71
hope this helps!
have a great day!
